I grew up eating Phoenix. When they opened one a few blocks from my house I was thrilled.
Can always count on them when the late night cravings kick in!
Thanks -

The food is too mediocre for the price it's at. However, I do appreciate that it is open late since I have to eat late dinners a lot.
FOOD
- XO Seafood Stir Fried Udon: hit or miss. I've had it when it was really good and pretty bad. It's pretty good when it's actually made well.
- Garlic Fried Chicken: not great, but I still order it when I'm really craving wings cause I'm just that weak for wings. usually too undercooked for my taste so ask for it extra crispy. -

I had high hopes for Phoenix but was very disappointed upon entrance.
I was greeted with a sour face MANAGER, I asked what she would recommend because it was my first time there, she replied "everything good pick something" lol. I couldn't help but to laugh, but she maintained her affect and continued being a good example to the employee that was standing beside her.
The food was alright, parking is easy and their open late.
I would not come back again -

I come here exclusively for their fried chicken wings. Super flavorful, crispy, and juicy.
The egg tarts are good too though. Durian tapioca is good if you like durian. Kumquat green tea was barely passing. Arctic surf clams are good but pricey. -

This place is pretty good if you need your Chinese food fix. I recommend the Won ton, seafood noodles, HK waffles, or green beans with rice! There are also so many other great things to try on their menu. They have a great variety of noodles and rice dishes. The prices are decent for the size of each item and the seating is great for both large and small parties. Parking can be found at the front or behind the restaurant. Don't forget to try their desserts!
There are multiple locations through SGV but this one in particular is my go to since its larger and more spacious. They do takeout orders which I find more convenient if you're looking for a quick pick up and night in at home. The service may be slow at time but it really depends on how many people are dining. Weekends can get a bit crowded, week days are better. Would recommend looking at the menu beforehand if you have a strict diet involving gluten free, no dairy, etc. There are vegetarian options, not too sure about vegan options.
ALSO NOTE: Some dishes may be more oily than others.
